EurTradeNet is a multi-entity collaboration on eCustoms of leading customs-related
service providers (CRSPs) from the different European countries:
- Sharing knowledge and activities
- Developing common standards and re-usable solutions
- Optimizing deployment of new public regulations and operational approaches
- Serving to traders trans-European electronic information exchange
- Collaborating with the relevant institutions and associations (national and global)
to assure a complete vision on needs and alternatives, thus effective deployment
of eCustoms
EurTradeNet is a member of the Trade Contact Group, the main forum for a mutual
exchange of views between the European Commission and the economic operators on
all customs-related fields (modernised customs code, current and future customs
legislation, policy and eCustoms)
There is no equivalent grouping initiative of the CRSPs industry in Europe, it is
complementary to other professional associations (traders, forwarders, couriers).
